When it comes to sourcing our feathers we endeavour to find responsible, sustainable plumes from happy birds. We recycle many feathers which would otherwise be thrown away. We collect unwanted feathers from a local country pub in Worcestershire where they raise their own chickens, geese and ducks and prepare pheasants from the surrounding woodland in their restaurant, and often people give us feathers too. As we use donated feathers, we cannot always know exactly where they came from, however we value the offering given to us and gladly use them in our work, celebrating the life of each bird!
